    Music written by and representing Hispanic heritage for National Hispanic Heritage Month. Music from composer and friend of Friction, Nicolás Lell Benavides, and arrangements of mariachi music. This concert features mezzo-soprano, Melinda Martinez Becker, who also completed the arrangements for string quartet and vocalist.

    Included in this program is a Friction Quartet commission from the Friction Commissioning Initiative.
